In Chinchero, witness the rich tradition of Andean weaving in a local workshop. Be captivated by a presentation demonstrating how artisans skillfully use natural elements like plants, minerals, and even insects to create a vibrant palette for dyeing their textiles.

Next, your journey takes you to the Archaeological Site of Moray. Marvel at these extraordinary Inca constructions, characterized by their large terraced circular depressions, ingeniously designed to create a temperature variance of up to 10 °C between terraces, likely serving as an agricultural experimental station for adapting crops to different microclimates.

The trek leads you to the fascinating archaeological sites of Chachabamba (2150m/7052ft) and Wiñaywayna (2650m/8692f). Prepare for an 8km hike, roughly 4 hours, ascending to the remarkable Inca site of Wiñay Wayna.
