Discover the timeless allure of Lima with a morning tour starting from your hotel between 08:40 to 09:00 hrs. Unveil the ancient heart of this millenary city, where modern life intermingles with structures dating back over 2,000 years. Witness a piece of Lima's historical puzzle as you pass by the grand Arequipa Avenue, a symbol of elegance from the early days of our independence.
Your first stop is the Bodega & Quadra Museum, a historical treasure housing the remnants of the wall that once protected Lima in the 17th century, alongside a collection of viceroyalty-era artefacts.
Continue to the revered Santo Domingo Convent, a 16th-century architectural marvel that stands as a testament to the profound influence of Catholicism during the viceroyalty era. If the timing aligns, catch the iconic Change of Guards at the Government Palace, a spectacle of tradition and precision.
Post-tour, enjoy a comfortable transfer back to your hotel, leaving the afternoon open for personal leisure or exploration.

Begin your day with an 08:00 hrs transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, a transfer will take you to your hotel in the city.
At approximately 1:30 p.m., embark on a City Tour of Cusco, starting with the historic Main Square, once known as Huacaypata or Warrior's Square. Explore the Cathedral, a remarkable structure on the site of the former Suntur Wasi temple. Notice the intricately designed choir cloisters, pulpit, and altar.
Continue to the Church and Convent of Santo Domingo, a striking example of Spanish architecture built on the Inca temple of Koricancha and dedicated to the Sun God. Admire the finely carved stone blocks that speak of a glorious past.
Your exploration extends to the outskirts of Cusco, visiting the majestic Sacsayhuaman fortress, known for its massive, overlapping platforms. Journey to Tambomachay, the Inca baths, and Kenko, a worship site with impressive stone engravings. Visit Puca Pucará, a once-thriving administrative and military centre.

Andean Wonders: From Chinchero Weaving to Moray's Mysteries
Begin your day with an 08:00 hrs transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, a transfer will take you to your hotel in the city.
Your exploration begins at 09:00 hrs with a pickup from your hotel, setting off to the quaint village of Chinchero, nestled between Cusco and Urubamba. In Chinchero, witness the rich tradition of Andean weaving in a local workshop. Be captivated by a presentation demonstrating how artisans skillfully use natural elements like plants, minerals, and even insects to create a vibrant palette for dyeing their textiles.
Next, your journey takes you to the Archaeological Site of Moray. Marvel at these extraordinary Inca constructions, characterized by their large terraced circular depressions, ingeniously designed to create a temperature variance of up to 10 °C between terraces, likely serving as an agricultural experimental station for adapting crops to different microclimates.
Post-lunch, venture to the ancient Maras Salt Mines, operational long before the Inca era. Observe the traditional salt extraction method, where saltwater from underground streams is left in numerous wells until evaporated, yielding pure salt ready for trade or use.

Your journey begins early at approximately 06:00 hrs with a transfer from your hotel to the Ollanta train station. Here, you'll embark on a train ride to KM 104, the starting point of your trek. The trek leads you to the fascinating archaeological sites of Chachabamba (2150m/7052ft) and Wiñaywayna (2650m/8692f). Prepare for an 8km hike, roughly 4 hours, ascending to the remarkable Inca site of Wiñay Wayna. This site boasts a striking blend of agricultural, religious, and urban structures, with its expansive terraces and intricate architecture.
Your adventure continues with a 1-hour hike to Inti Punku, 'The Sun Gate,' where you'll be greeted with a breathtaking view of the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu (2400m/7874f). Please note that your comprehensive tour of the Sanctuary is scheduled for the following day.

Conclude your day with a shuttle bus ride down to the village of Machu Picchu, where you will spend the night in a local hotel. Enjoy a relaxing dinner at the hotel, reflecting on the day's incredible experiences.
Note: Please note the train's luggage allowance of one 5 Kg piece. Your backpack will be sent ahead to your hotel in Machu Picchu. We recommend carrying only essentials for the trek, such as repellent, water, snacks, and sunblock.
Machu Picchu Revealed: A Day of Enchantment and Exploration
Your Machu Picchu adventure starts at 09:00 hrs with a transfer to the bus that will take you up the winding roads to the iconic citadel, a brief but scenic 20-minute journey. Upon arrival, step into the world of the Incas as you begin your guided tour of Machu Picchu. Hiram Bingham unveiled This remarkable site 112 km from Cusco to the world in 1911.
As you explore, discover the unique location of the citadel, perched between Machu Picchu (old mountain) and Huayna Picchu (young mountain), with the Urubamba River flowing below. This area is known for its rich flora and fauna, adding to the mystical experience of the site.
After your tour, descend back to Aguas Calientes, where you can enjoy lunch (not included) or take some time to wander through this charming town.
Your return journey begins at 16:00 hrs with a transfer to the train station, where you'll board the train back to Poroy. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted and transferred back to your hotel in Cusco, bringing your day full of ancient wonders and natural beauty to a comfortable close.
At 16:00 hrs, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Lima.
